The island of San Giorgio Maggiore can be reached via Vaporetto, ACTV line n°2, direction San Zaccaria(via Giudecca), stop at San Giorgio. Ticket price: €7

From Piazza San Marco - stop S. Zechariah Monument

The island of San Giorgio Maggiore can be reached via Vaporetto, ACTV line n°2, direction Giudecca-Ferrovia, stop at San Giorgio. Ticket price: €4
Estimated time of travel: 5 minutes


At the end of the concert the return to the mainland is secured by the links of line n°2 direction Tronchetto -Ferrovia and a ferry service, with departures every 10 minutes to San Marco.

By train

Venice has two railway stations.


The train station of Venice-Mestre is the last stop on the mainland.

From the station it is possible to reach Venice or stay in Mestre by bus or taxi (radio taxi: tel. 041.936222).

From the railway station of Venezia Santa Lucia anywhere in the city can be easily reached on foot and by boat.

By plane

The Marco Polo Airport in Venice is 12 Km by car and 10 Km by boat from Venice and is well connected with public transports to Venice (by water and land) and to the rail station in Mestre.
